Our Community Involvement

It’s so important to us that we put it in our name. Helping the community and charities in our DNA.

One of our core pillars at RE/MAX Community is to help out our communities and engage in charitable endeavors.  Since the start, helping the community was close to our hearts and it’s something that we as a company put an emphasis on.  We encourage all our employees to engage is charitable work in one form or another.  Our Realtors also understand the importance of charity.  They Actively give to a different number of organization and contribute to any fundraising activities we partake in.  Our success in charity speaks for itself.  We do it because we genuinely care.

Children's Miracle Network

Started in 2010 as a challenge to uplift the spirits of the Tamil community after the disastrous and traumatic events of 2009, Puthiya Velicham has transformed into a resource and aid for several of the individuals and families that have been directly affected including orphans, war widows and amputees.  Puthiya Velicham now proudly provides counselling services to those that otherwise would not have access to these facilities and resources, provides motivation for these communities to develop resiliency, and participates in redevelopment initiatives. This is completed by engaging different stakeholders like businessmen, farmers, teachers and unemployed youths.

Puthiya Velicham has worked with small local businesses in North and East Sri Lanka to  help design business plans, understand principals of cash flow and  ensure that they are able to be self sufficient and independent.
